Easy Pavlov cake for Midsummer

Here's how to make a really simple and good variant with BOB JUST BEAR & fruit, whipped cream and strawberries.

You do

meringue Bottoms

  • 8 äggvitor
  • 4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tsp vinegar 12 %

Servering

  • 1 jar BOB ONLY BEAR & Fruit Strawberry
  • 5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 l strawberries, Partial
  • 1 bunch of fresh lemon balm (or fresh mint)

Do this

  1. Preheat the oven to 140 grader.
  2. Beat the egg whites to a hard foam. Stir in the sugar and whisk the meringue until it is glossy and spicy. Then whisk down the corn and vinegar.
  3. Spread the meringue on two coated plates and shape into circles. Bake in 1 h 15 minutes and then turn off the heat. Leave the pavlov to stay in the oven for a few hours or overnight.
  4. Spread out half the jar BOB ONLY BEAR & Fruit on one meringue bottom. Whip the cream fluffy and spread half over the jam.
  5. Put on the other bottom. Add one to stock BOB JUST BEAR & Fruit and cream on top. Top with strawberries and some lemon balm.

The world's best gT infused with an Espresso Martini

served as a Tom Collins.

Ingredients:

50 ml Gin
30 ml Coffee sugar layer*
20 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice
60 ml tonic

Do this:

Shake all of these ingredients in a shaker with ice except tonic and strain up to a glass that will be filled with ice. Top with tonic and mix with a spoon.

You will really know all three drinks that come after each other, first GT, then Tom Collins also ends it with an Espresso Martini.

* Kaffesockerlag: Heat equal parts of coffee and sugar. ex. 3 dl liter of coffee + 3 dl sugar = coffee sugar layer.

Poached salmon

150 gr lax/person

1 liters

½ dl 12% vinegar

1 msk salt

10 allspice

Dillmajonnäs

Pavlova cake

meringue Base

3 lemons

as 4 cup granulated sugar

150 g butter

6 eggs

Water

Garnering

3 cup cream, whipped

fresh berries (jordgubbar, raspberries, blueberries)

Do this

1. meringue Base
Preheat the oven to 140 grader. Beat egg whites to quite rigid foams.

  1. Stir in the sugar and continue whisking until the mixture becomes glossy and can shape into peaks with whisk.
  2. Add the corn flour and vinegar, stir well.
  3. Scoop out the batter in a greased and floured baking sheet significantly in as smooth a circle as possible.
  4. Grädda i cirka 1 timme och 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the cake bottom left in the oven at least a few hours or overnight. It is also possible to store it on another dry place.
  5. Lemon curd
    Wash the lemons to lemoncurden carefully. Squeeze out the juice and grate the zest from two of them nicely.
  6. Pour the sugar in a small stainless steel pot and add lemon rind.
  7. Mix the juice from all the lemons with soft touched butter. Stir in lemon butter in the pan.
  8. Beat the eggs lightly, pour them into the saucepan and stir, preferably with a wooden spoon.
  9. Boil water in a large saucepan. Put the small pan in the simmering water (water bath).
  10. . Let the cream to simmer on low heat until it thickens. Stir constantly! Place the cream aside and let cool.

Add the cake bottom of a barrel, wide on a layer lemon curd and then whipped cream.

Garnish with the fancy small berries. voila!

Coconut mussels

4 portions

Never cook mussels long. then they become tough as rubber! The mussels should just open up, when they are ready. This dish is good to do even with vongole or cockles.

YOU NEED

2 network mussels
1 section bacon
4 schalottenlökar

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 bags (1g) saffron

WHAT TO DO

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour

  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 krm salt

  • 2 1/2 cups milk 

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 eggs

  • butter for frying

Do this: 

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Whisk first down milk, then the butter and finally the egg. Beat all until smooth.

  2. Brush a skillet with butter and then out about 1 tablespoon per pancake batter.

  3. Bake about 1 1/2 minutes, until it starts to get a little bubbles on the surface. Turn and bake for about another 1 1/2 minutes. 

  4. serve immediately.

Choclate cake

Ingredients

150 g butter

3 cup sugar

1 dl cocoa

2 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

2 dl flour

breadcrumbs

Do this:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees hot air. If the hot air is used, Raise to 200 grader.
  2. Melt the butter and let it cool. Stir in cocoa, vanilla sugar and sugar. Add one egg at a time. Finish with flour.

  • 75 g butter
  • 1 dl brown sugar

Do this:

Set oven to 175gr.

  1. Melt the butter and stir in the milk, mixing it with the egg mixture.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and fold gently into the dough. Pour half of the cake mixture into a greased and floured form. Mix cocoa in the rest of the batter and pour it over the light in the form.
  3. Pull with a fork or spoon the batter to the cake for a marbled appearance.
  4. Bake in middle of oven for about 30 minutes. Try using a stick, it should not be sticky.
  5. Boil while the cream, butter and brown sugar and simmer for a few minutes on medium heat. Drawing from the heat. Chop the chocolate, mix it down and stir until melted.
